I’m not one to sing the praises, online anyway, of a product. Today I’m making an exception. For the record, the only keyboards and mouses that we’ve used in the last ten years have been from Logitech. So I was a fan of their products prior to what happened today.

This week our home office got a bit of a face lift in the form of two new desks. This is something we’ve been wanting to do since we moved in over three years ago and we finally got around to it. Well, Bill decided to look for new desks.

Anyway, as a result of all the moving around of things one of the ‘feet’ on my keyboard was broken. After dealing with it being lopsided all week I decided to call Logitech to see if they could send me a new ‘foot’. For those smarty pants out there, no I didn’t have the foot propped up, that’s not what caused it to be lopsided. Surprisingly those ‘feet’ don’t fold flush against the bottom so when one is missing the keyboard is lopsided.

When my call was answered by Ryan he was very polite and handled everything very efficiently. He did a quick check and it turns out that my keyboard is no longer made so they can’t send me a new foot. Instead they are going to send me a completely new keyboard. He took my name and address as well as my email address and I should have a new keyboard a week from now. Wow!

I have to say that I’m super impressed all around. When I get the survey to let the company know how my call was handled I will definitely complete it and sing Ryan’s praises as well as the company’s replacement policy.

Spring has finally sprung in the Northeast!

I’m so happy winter is over and the colors of spring are starting to greet us!

Recently our mantel has become my pet project. I know that Bill would like the photo wall to pass the mantel on my priority list, and in a few days it will. But right now I’m one item away from changing from St. Patty’s to Spring.

That said, here’s a look at our St. Patty’s mantel….

Here’s a look at the Valentine’s mantel as well. I had trouble coming up with something for the vases. I figured since it snowed the entire month of February the snowflakes were appropriate. I already have a few ideas for next year though.

The Peach Is Gone!!!

Anyone who knows me and has been in our home knows that there was one thing that I really wanted to get rid of….that was the peach paint. Where was the peach paint? The peach paint was literally everywhere. It was the color of all the common areas in our home.

This project had to wait over two years though as there was other paint that was worse. Oh boy was it worse! But the time has finally come and the peach is outta here.

It took Bill and I a while to come to a decision on which color we would use to replace the horrid peach. We had quite a few walls with many patches of paint. We had this for a few weeks until we finally made our decision.

There were those who thought we chose a color that was way to dark. I think those folks forgot just how much our house is flooded with sunlight for the majority of the day. If this wasn’t true then the color would have been too dark.

I won’t make you wait any longer for the unveiling…..
